Amar is a dual-qualified Physiotherapist and Sports Therapist — holding a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from St George’s University of London and an MSc in Sports Therapy from London Metropolitan University. His clinical placements during training included Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, Barts Health (Cystic Fibrosis/ICU and Acute Stroke Unit), and NELFT community rehabilitation.
Following qualification, Amar worked as an MSK Outpatient Physiotherapist at Thurrock Community Hospital (NHS), conducting full assessments and delivering evidence-based treatment plans for chronic and acute conditions. He also holds qualifications in acupuncture, cupping therapy, and Ayurvedic medicine.
Amar is multilingual — speaking English, Farsi, Hindi, and Urdu — and brings a culturally sensitive, holistic approach to patient care at LPAW.
