Your Membership Terms

Please read these before you set up your Direct Debit. It takes about two minutes.

1. What you’re signing up for

A rolling monthly membership. It includes unlimited access to our gym and hydropool, plus the physiotherapy sessions in your chosen plan (if any).

For Bounce Members, opening hours are 9am-7pm Monday-Friday and 10-2pm on Saturday. Clinic hours often run till 8pm on weekdays and 5pm on Weekends including Sunday, so there may be more times available but you’ll need to confirm these on an ad hoc basis.

All memberships include a WhatsApp concierge service to arrange appointments or any other support. The hours of operation for this are the same as the Facility Opening Hours.

Sessions are allocated each month and don’t roll over — if you don’t use them, they’re lost at the end of your billing month. This is to encourage members to get the most out of their memberships. If you have a genuine reason that you can’t use all your sessions in a month, clinic management may apply leniency at their discretion.

2. What you pay

Your monthly price is shown before you set up your Direct Debit. We collect it by Direct Debit on the same date each month, starting the day you join.

You’re protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee. We’ll give you advance notice of the amount and date, and of any change to either.

If a payment fails, we’ll try again. If it fails twice we may pause your access until it’s settled.

3. Your 14-day cooling-off period

Because you joined online, you can cancel within 14 days of joining for a full refund.

If you’d like to start using the clinic straight away during those 14 days, you’re asking us to begin the service early. If you then cancel, we’ll refund you minus a fair amount for what you’ve already used.

4. Booking and cancelling appointments

As a member you get priority booking and can block-book a regular slot.

If you need to cancel or move an appointment, please give us at least 24 hours notice.

You get one free late cancellation each month. Beyond that, a late cancellation or a missed appointment uses up that month’s session.

5. Freezing your membership

You can freeze your membership at any time — for illness, injury, travel or any other reason.

Freezes last up to 3 months at a time. While frozen, we don’t take payment and you can’t use the facilities or book sessions. Just let us know when you’re ready to resume your membership and we’ll sort it.

6. Cancelling your membership

(a) rolling, no minimum term

Give us 30 days notice to cancel. Your membership runs to the end of that notice period and then stops. You can cancel by email, in person at reception, or in writing.

Cancelling the Direct Debit at your bank on its own doesn’t cancel your membership — please tell us as well, so we don’t chase you for missed payments.

7. If our prices change

We review prices once a year. If your price goes up we’ll tell you at least 30 days beforehand, and you’re free to cancel before it takes effect.

If you joined as a founding member on a locked rate, that rate stays fixed for as long as your membership runs without a break (not including freezes).

8. Who you’ll see

Your plan is for sessions with a physiotherapist at your chosen level — MSK, Senior or Consultant. We’ll do our best to keep you with the same clinician, but your membership is with the clinic, not a named individual. If your usual physio isn’t available due to illness or any other reason, we’ll give you the option to reschedule with them once they’re back, or offer you an appointment with someone else at the same level who your regular physio will do a thorough handover to. You can switch physios at any time if you’d like to try someone different.

9. Add-ons

Extras like hydrotherapy, shockwave, massage and class credits are not part of your Direct Debit. You buy them at reception, at member rates, whenever you’d like one or your physio recommends it. Nothing extra is ever taken from your bank without you asking.

10. Guest passes

Your membership includes one guest pass a month for the gym and pool. Guests must be 18 or over, complete a health declaration on arrival, and be accompanied by you. Passes don’t roll over. You may bring the same guest multiple times

11. Using the gym and pool

You’ll need to complete an induction before your first use of the gym or hydropool.

Please follow the posted rules and any instruction from our staff. We can ask you to stop using the facilities if you’re putting yourself or others at risk.

Opening hours and class timetables can change. We’ll give you as much notice as we can if the pool or gym has to close for maintenance.

12. Your health

You must complete our health questionnaire before using the gym or pool, and tell us if anything changes — particularly heart conditions, pregnancy, infections, open wounds or anything affecting your safety in water.

Please don’t use the pool if you have an infection, an open wound, or have had sickness or diarrhoea in the last 48 hours.

If a health condition means you can’t use your membership, talk to us — we’ll freeze or cancel it fairly.

13. If we need to end your membership

We may end your membership if payments repeatedly fail, if our terms or facility rules are seriously or repeatedly broken, or if behaviour puts our staff or other members at risk. We’ll always explain why, and refund anything you’ve paid for and not received.

14. Your information

We hold your personal and health information to provide your care and run your membership, and we handle it in line with UK data protection law and our privacy notice. Your clinical records are confidential. You can ask to see your data or have it corrected at any time.

15. If something goes wrong

Tell us – we’d much rather fix it. Speak to reception or email members@lpawclinic.com and we’ll respond within 24 hours.

Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights as a consumer, or our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
